IMAGING WEEK 2

6 AUGUST,2019.

The class started with the explanation of “Gestalt’s principle”, and explained how those principles can help us in our compositions.Few of the principles are: Proximity (in this the objects are perceived in groups when place together) , Similarity (objects are perceived in groups when they look similar), Continuity (in this our eye is compelled to form one object to another ), Closure (gives an illusion of a closed figure) and Good figure (makes complex images as the simplest form possible.) After that soon we were introduced to the pen tool, we learnt how to create straight lines and curved lines with the pen tool. It was a bit tricky in the start but than we got the hang of it. We also learnt how to add anchor points and how to remove them too. In the later half sir told us the difference between layers and artboards. He also explained their usage and its importance to us. We learnt how he make different forms in different layers and than combine them to make one, how to add and remove the shapes from one layer to another.
