12th, OCTOBER 2019.
we were introduced to different ways to customize brushes. first one is shape. create any shape > Edit > Define Brush Preset > Name it. The brush picks up the shape & design but not the colour. second one is image Remove the background of the image with magic wand tool > Edit > Define Brush Preset > Name it. later you can change the colour too. last type is text Write a text in any font > Ctrl t > Click on the layer thumbnail > Edit > Define Brush Preset > Name it. This helps in saving different texts as a brush which can be used whenever and makes it more convenient.

- later We were told to write down five good qualities about our self.
- We saved the various customized texts in the brush tool.
- place the texts on a black background withoout leaving any space.
- chose a picture with a black background. (If not available we gave it a black background using the magic wand tool and then filling it in with black.)
- lastly, place the image on top of the text and then clip mask it. (Ctrl E helps in merging all the layers into 1.)
Content aware move tool is used to select & move a part of a picture. The image is recompose and the whole left behind is filled using matching elements from the picture.Select the area using the lasso tool > Shift + Backspace > Click OK > Mode – normal. The opacity should be 100% and high resolution pictures for image repairing. Alt + Backspace – foreground colour fill and select preserve transparency to only give colour to the brush and not the background.

Select the content aware move tool > mark the area > click on mode and select move (this will help you to move the object from one place to another) > extent mode ( this will help you to create copies of the selected object).

Clone stamp tool allows you to duplicate part of an image. select clone stamp tool > increase/decrease brush size > Alt drag to select the area you wish to clone.
