IMAGING WEEK 12

15th, OCTOBER 2019.

Week 12 started with the discussion related to the zine assignment. regarding how to enhance it. The characters were supposed to be created on illustrator and the background and grids on photoshop.Each of us showed our rough sketches and got some suggestions and ideas

In the second half we were introduced to the style option. With the help of this one can insert different styles to objects and texts. There are many presets available but one can even customize it according to their liking. (Windows > Style > Select from the various presets available.) fx (the bottom of the layer palate) = layer style option to customize styles. Stroke, drop shadow, overlay are majorly used. PERSPECTIVE Edit > Transform > perspective. To apply perspective one needs to rasterize the layer Shift + Alt is a shortcut for perspective.Ctrl + Shift + Alt + arrow up = Copy of the same layer but 1px more.

Lastly we were introduced to brightness & contrast too Image > Adjustment > Brightness & Contrast , hue and saturation. The master option at the top opens up to various colours ( CMYK , RGB ) which helps to manage particular shades.
