Seventh week began the introduction of photoshop. We learnt how new canvas can be created by changing its size and resolution. Miss also told us the difference between RGB and CMYK. Later layers was introduce to us, shortcut for layers is F7, After its selection ,The background layer is permanent and it cant be moved. Miss gave us an example that how one cant paint again and again on a wall but he can do the came by adding a sheet of glass in the same way in photoshop we have to add layers. We gained knowledge about rectangular marquee and elliptical marquee tool which is used to create shapes or to crop. after cropping one can use the feather tool to blur out the borders. Paint bucket tool is use to fill the shape .we learnt about the foreground and background colour. In the second half we learnt how to make a collage .
Place an image
Ctrl J ( To copy the image on a new layer )
Ctrl + Shift + U ( to transform it to black and white. )
Ctrl J ( To copy the image on a new layer )
Ctrl I to get the negative effect
Blending mode> colour dodge
blur > gaussian blur
Brush tool and make strokes of different colours.
Blending mode add any effect of your choice.
To place the images ( File> Place embedded.)
Crop the image (by using the rectangular/elliptical marquee tool)
Select the feather tool and make it 50px so it fades out. (To make the image blend)
click Ctrl + Shift + I to Inverse the selection.
lastly, Click on backspace to crop it.
for saving the image press Ctrl S (save it in a PSD format which is editable) Ctrl + Shift + S – JPEG format (non editable)
