Today was the introduction of a new assignment. After the compilation of a story book we were now supposed to design a coffee table book. we learnt about what a coffee table book is then, We went through a few coffee table books to understand various styles and layouts of the same . Most of them had a jacket ( it helps to protect the book) .Every book had a different layout but had a lot of images. Some images covered the entire spread. This was the highlight of a coffee table book, it’s more about the images than the content.
After all the references, in the second half of the class we started creating our layouts . We had to create a coffee table book on any topic from the history class. I chose jewellery from Egyptian civilizations as my aspect and began with the layouts and research.

I also decided my character styles and paragraph styles for my final layouts
