tenth weeks class started with a quick discussion regarding the museum and our experience. We visited different galleries like weapons, coins, paintings etc which were further divided on the basis of various aspects. later we began the class with a discussion on ‘iconography’( the study of symbols used in art),Iconography was a new concept to me and it was interesting to see how symbols can be associated with religions and how a few symbols can be used to describe the identity of a person. We discussed the kind of symbols we saw in the museum,in the second half The class was divided into groups of three for our final project. Based on the pictures we took in the museum, we had to assign an image to one design specialization each- Product design, communication design, fashion design, fashion communication and styling, interior design and strategic design management. All 3 members had to show their interpretation and from that we had to shortlist 8 images in total.
