in today’s class was all about the presentations every team had to give about their respective empires. My group presented the empire of Phoenicia and i chose kingship as the aim for our research.
Belonged to a the King Ahiram. vSarcophagus was made for Ahiram by his son, Ittobaal. The rest of the inscription is essentially a curse intended to protect the sarcophagus and its contents from would-be desecrators. v It has been noted that 19 of the 22 letters that make up the Phoenician alphabet are present in this inscription.
