We were taken to the workshop for orientation, over there Damodar sir started with introducing staff members, moving3 forward he told us all about general safety rules, workshop attire, and workshop timings. He introduced us to all the tools available in the lab and explained its uses. Tools over there included hammer, chisels, metal scissors, screws, bolts & nuts of different sizes, screw drivers, depth gauge, and scales of different sizes. He also gave life demonstration of how to use drill machine, saw, blower, thermocol cutting machine and many more. It was a very informative session . In the second half we where asked to research on few materials i.e. manmade and natural materials and bring them next week with sample and also write 5 points about each. lastly I attended a seminar by Parul Zaveri. the seminar was extremely inspiring and insightful . she has taken huge projects like the oberoi udaivillas and also many luxurious resorts all over the world. I personally learnt a lot from her.
