After exploring and experimenting different materials to create my prototypes, it was time to make the final product. I decided to work with MDF and wood as my material for the final model. I started the model by drawing out each and every part on MDF .Then used the cutting machine to cut the MDF in proper shapes and later I stuck them on top of each other to make it thick. After completing the sticking part I used the sanding machine to give it a round edge and a smooth finish. lastly had to join them together to make it look like a grip. I used wire to join the pieces together.
The entire process of building a model was a great experience. I learnt many techniques. It also helped me to understand the materials better. I gained confidence in using the machines. After failing a lot of times, I learnt from my mistakes. And was finally successful. overall it was a great experince working on this assignment.
